Learning to Help Each Other!
One of the things that our first graders learn is how to take care of their own items in their desk. We clean our desks periodically and then help those who are still finishing up the task as they have a time limit to beat. One important life skill is to learn how to use their time effectively and that helping each other makes it more fun. The students learned that they can accomplish tasks much faster when they work together. They were very proud on how organized everything looks and I am thrilled that they can find anything in their desks quickly!
