Dictionary Work!
One of the many things that we did today was finding words in a dictionary and learning how guide words help us to locate them. We also did a lot of work on alphabetizing words to the second letter, which is a complicated skill for first graders. They did a great job of working hard and keeping focused throughout the lesson.
