Waggle and IXL
One of the highlights of this week was learning how to do Waggle on their Chromebooks. This program complements our Into Reading series and it primarily focuses on letter cluster sounds that will help the students understand how to read. The students love Waggle because they design their own avatar and then progress through the program playing games and listening to short videos. It is a highly interactive program.
We also are learning how to quickly get on IXL to practice math skills that have been previously taught. We worked on counting on to add numbers today.
