Balloons!!!
The students earned their last letter for the word "Balloons" so they had the privilege of playing with balloons in the gym for 15 minutes. They are now working towards being allowed to bring a stuffed animal to spend the day with them.
In math we just finished Topic 3, which showed different strategies to subtract numbers. We are learning about how animals bodies help them in reading and science. The students have learned many different ways to decode words and are asking amazing questions! I am very proud of their progress so far!
We are also writing our own Halloween poems for a class book. They are reading what their peers wrote when they're lining up in the hallway as it is on our bulletin board.
